About This Class

Your AI Coach: Private 1-on-1 AI Lessons for Kids with Andrew Livingston

What if your child could learn AI by actually using it, not just watching someone else use it?

Your child gets their own private AI coach in these personalized 1-on-1 live classes. No groups, no waiting for a turn, and no one-size-fits-all curriculum.

Every 40-minute session is built around your learner, their age, interests, ideas, and pace. Whether they love video games, fantasy creatures, comics, storytelling, jokes, technology, or are simply curious about what AI can do, we turn those interests into hands-on learning experiences.

Your learner won’t just talk about AI. They’ll use real AI tools to create, experiment, solve problems, and bring their ideas to life.

What We’ll Explore

The topics below are mixed and customized based on your learner’s interests, age, and experience. After the first session, I’ll create a personalized path forward.

  • Prompting Like a Pro Learn how to ask AI better questions, give clear instructions, improve results, and recognize when a small change in wording can make a big difference.
  • Build Your Own AI Chatbot Design an AI character with its own personality, rules, knowledge, and voice. Then test it, improve it, and see how well it responds.
  • Games & Story Creation Turn an idea into a game concept, story, comic, character, or scene—with AI as a creative partner along the way.
  • AI Helpers & Agents Explore ways AI can help with planning, studying, brainstorming, organizing ideas, and creative projects.
  • Images & Music With AI Create original characters, artwork, posters, scenes, and music. Your learner also learns how to direct and refine AI instead of simply accepting the first result.
  • When AI Gets It Wrong Learn about hallucinations, misinformation, fact-checking, and why a confident AI answer isn’t always a correct one.

What Happens During Each 40-Minute Class?

1. QUICK CHECK-IN We start by talking about what your learner is interested in and what they want to make or explore.

2. WATCH ME I demonstrate the tool or skill live and explain what I’m doing—and, more importantly, why I’m doing it.

3. YOUR TURN Your learner takes the lead. They make the creative decisions, experiment with prompts, troubleshoot problems, and improve their work while I coach them along the way.

4. STAR MOMENT Every class aims to end with something real they created—a finished image, working chatbot, game scene, story, character, or another project they can proudly show you.

5. WHAT’S NEXT? We finish with a quick look at what they could build or explore in the next session.

My Teaching Style

I’m more coach than lecturer.

Classes are upbeat, practical, and hands-on. Your learner does the thinking, experimenting, and creating. I guide them, ask questions, help them solve problems, and show them how to improve their ideas.

I don’t simply give them the answer. I help them learn how to figure things out.

Everything is kept age-appropriate and focused on practical AI skills your child can use for school, creative projects, problem-solving, and everyday life.

Your Learner Is in the Driver’s Seat

Because this is truly 1-on-1, your child gets my full attention throughout the class.

They can:

  • Talk with me
  • Type in the chat
  • Share their screen
  • Show me what they’re creating
  • Ask questions whenever they want
  • Choose what they want to explore

There are no other students waiting for their turn and no pressure to keep up with a group.

If they have a question, we stop and explore it. If they become fascinated by something, we can follow that curiosity.

What Your Child Needs

All they need is:

  • A computer with a webcam and microphone
  • A quiet place to work
  • An internet connection
  • Curiosity and imagination

I bring the tools, prompts, guidance, and structure. Your learner brings the ideas.

Ready to Put AI in Your Child’s Hands?

This isn’t a class where kids sit back and watch someone talk about artificial intelligence.

It’s a private creative lab where your child gets to experiment, build, make mistakes, solve problems, and create something new—with an AI coach right there beside them.
